In teams, the students will choose a famous Spanish-speaking person, research on him/her and prepare a presentation about him/her to inform their peers. To do this, they need to collaborate among their team, resolve conflicts and work collaboratively and effectively with others. 

Apply skills and knowledge in unfamiliar situations

Students will apply their listening skills in various contexts/tasks, including general formative listening tasks from Mira 1, songs, and also a formative Criterion A task in preparation for the Criterion A summative task.
