Slide 1 - Tekstslide

Kijk- en luistervaardigheid
  • De toets bestaat uit een kijk- en luisteronderdeel. Beide onderdelen duren ongeveer en half uur. 
  • Na ieder fragment is er een pauze waarin je de vraag moet beantwoorden.  
  • Lees altijd vooruit zodat je gericht kunt luisteren naar het antwoord.

Kijk- en luistervaardigheid
  • Algemene tip bij meerkeuze vragen. Als je het antwoord niet weet, formuleer je eigen antwoord en kies dan  het antwoord dat het meest lijkt op je eigen antwoord. 
  • Wees scherp, alert en uitgerust. 
  • Net als bij leestoetsen: raak niet in paniek op het moment dat je een woord niet begrijpt. Lees de hele vraag nog eens of ga na of je de rest van het fragment wel begrijpt. Meestal is dat zo.

Oefenen
  • Veel blootstelling aan de Engelse taal. Luister naar podcasts of Engelstalige nieuwswebsites. Probeer hierbij naar verschillende accenten te luisteren.
  • Veel oefenen met (bijvoorbeeld) oude toetsen in de klas. De manier waarop vragen gesteld worden is vaak hetzelfde. Door veel te oefenen raak je hier steeds meer bekend mee. 
  • Oefenen met Woots.
