- ONE CELL LAYER THICK (THIN WALLS FASTER ABSORPTION)

- GOOD BLOOD SUPPLY (FAST TRANSPORT OF NUTRIENTS TO THE REST OF THE BODY)

-Mainly fibre, dead cells, bacteria and water

-Water absorbed in the blood 

-Solid waste (feaces) stored in the rectum
