The LessonUp spinner is the perfect interactive tool to carry out formative assessments within all kinds of subjects. It works really well if students are divided into pairs.

Formative assessments with the spinner 👉 a great way to measure your students’ knowledge

The LessonUp spinner is the perfect interactive tool to carry out a formative assessment at the end of a lesson. Questions are chosen randomly by the spinner, creating an ‘unpredictable’, yet fun and exciting classroom dynamic.

How do you insert questions in a spinner?

First of all check out our video below how easy it is to add a spinner to your lesson. As a teacher, you decide which questions you want to insert in the spinner. You can do so via the settings (pencil) of the spinner component.

How do you implement it?

The spinner is the perfect interactive tool to carry out formative assessments within all kinds of subjects. As a variation to assessing students individually, divide your class into pairs, and encourage them to evaluate the questions together. Share your screen with them by ticking the box ‘show for students’.

Can you believe it? You can embed the spinner in your lesson or test for free. Create a free LessonUp account, and add the spinner to your lesson or test. 👇
