WHAT ARE COMPONENTS?

With components in LessonUp you can add extra (interactive) functionalities to your
lesson. This enhances the educational experience of the students and you can address the different needs of students. LessonUp has 11 different components that can be placed in an existing slide.

+ Component Traffic Light

With the 'Traffic Light' component you can place a traffic light anywhere in your slide.

The use of a 'traffic light' in the lesson is a common way to teach students to focus while working independently in a class situation.
The format that is usually used is: red for working in total silence, no questions may be asked; orange if questions may be asked to the teacher or with each other; green is for normal discussion and collaboration. 
Of course, this is can change on the basis of how you teach in your classroom.



Click on ‘+ Component’ and the on ‘Traffic Light’.

Just like the other components, you can make the traffic light larger or smaller by adjusting the size of the frame.





For more advanced options to adjust the timer, click on the settings wheel in the box, and then on the pencil.
