What you’ll learn: how to manage administrators and editorial team members.
Time required: 5 minutes

Where can you see who your administrators and editorial team members are?

  • Log into LessonUp.
  • Click your name in the top-right corner.
  • Under Organisations, select your channel’s name.
  • You’ll find an overview of permissions under the tabs Editorial Team, Administrators, and Folders.

Editorial members

Here you can add new editorial members by entering their email addresses.

Tip 💡: We recommend keeping the ‘Grant a LessonUp school license immediately’ option checked when adding someone new.

Administrators

This is where you decide who the administrators of your organisation are. What can administrators do?
  • Access the admin environment.
  • Add and remove members.
  • Upload attachments to the channel.

Folders

Users with writing rights can view, edit, and teach lessons from the shared folders. Users with reading rights can only view and teach lessons, without making changes.

How to adjust reading and writing rights for editorial members:
  • Go to the Folders tab.
  • Click Manage folder next to the folder you want to adjust.
  • Select the editorial members you’d like to edit permissions for.
  • Choose Grant writing rights, Grant reading rights, or No access.
