Strategy: Quoting from a text
If you are quoting from a text, follow these rules:
- Start and end your quote with single or double qoutations marks: "and ...".
- Write down the first two and the last two words of the fragment that you're qouting, separated by three dots (...). This can be a complete sentence, but also a phrase ( a logical part of a sentence) or even more than one sentence.
- If possible, add the line numbersor page number(s) where you found the qoute in brackets.

Example: "In an ... something else." (lines 1-2).
