Wederkerend voornaamwoord: verwijst bijna altijd terug naar het onderwerp van een zin.
Wederkerig voornaamwoord:  drukt een wederzijdse relatie of handeling tussen twee personen uit.

-self & -selves = zelf, zich, zichzelf 

- na ww als wash, dress, shave etc géén reflexive pronoun! 
Alléén wanneer de nadruk ligt op wie de handeling uitvoert
