Short version of the story:
Romeo and Juliet fall in love at a party. But they come from families who hate each other. They will never be allowed to get married. Nevertheless, they want to get married by Father Laurence in secret. However Romeo kills Juliet's cousin in a fight and he is forced to leave Juliet.

Juliet has to marry Paris because her parents tell her to do this. Her parents do not know that she is already married to Romeo.
She refuses in the beginning but eventually she kills herself the night before she has to marry Paris. Her death was a fake death so everyone would think she is dead and she could sneak of to Romeo and be with him instead.

In the meantime:
Romeo doesn't know about the fake death of Juliet and he thinks that she is really dead.
He then kills himself and Juliet wakes up.....a sad sad ending of a tragedy.

Group Assignment :
Ieder groepje van 3-4 leerlingen (ik kies groepjes) krijgt een hoofdstuk van het verhaal
Samen lees je eerst het hoofdstuk door en zorg je ervoor dat je allemaal begrijpt waar het over gaat
Daarna kun je kiezen welke van de volgende opdrachten jullie gaan uitwerken de komende lessen.
Volgende week maandag moet dit gepresenteerd worden voor de klas !!!
