a. Have you ever given advice to a friend or relative about what to buy? Since you're studying to work in IT, you could focus on advice you may have given about buying a computer or software, for example.

b. Have you ever returned a product to a store because you were unhappy with it, or perhaps even registered a complaint about a product or store?

c. Have you ever made a phone call in English? If so, how did it go? Did you find anything difficult about it? If you haven't made a phone call in English yet, can you imagine how you would go about it? What do you think is different from making a phone call in English and in Dutch?
