Get the Die in the Basket! 
One person in your group will try to throw the die in the basket, with their eyes closed. We'll try this 3 rounds: In silence, only yes & no, and the last one you're allowed to say anything. 

Judges! Move to another group, you will take their score.
Explorers! You will try to throw the ball in the basket.

To help your teammate you may...
Round 1: Say nothing! Complete silence.
Round 2: Only say yes or no.
Round 3: Say whatever you think will help your teammate!

You get 1 minute each round, I'll put the timer on the board.

Feedback
When giving feedback, make sure it:
  1. Mentions both the good & the bad. Be positive; mention a good element for every bad one.
  2. Explains why they are good/bad. Be specific!

Today, we're going to give feedback on each other's tests. As a group, switch places. Read the other group's questions.
  1. Are the questions clear?
  2. How so?
  3. What do you think they did well? 
  4. What could be improved?
  5. Can you think of any tips if you were going to make this test?

Look at the feedback you got. What did you do well & what could you improve? Use the feedback!

Don't be afraid to ask for clarification. Spokesperson, you should be ready to receive questions.

Finished? Make a list of tips for people who are about to make your test! What would help you to make this test? Think of:
  1. Knowledge of the topic 
  2. Listening strategies 
  3. Vocabulary

Three rows: Brainstorm as many reasons as possible about...

Row A: what would make them reluctant to give feedback to someone?
Row B: what feedback will help them accomplish? 
Row C: what would make a feedback session effective?
