  • You are going to write a WhatsApp Chat between 2 historical persons. 
  • Max. 2 characters  
  • You can make up a strange story or a true story
     
Before you start:
Write down the name of your historical characters.
- When does it take place?
- How are they feeling?

The dialogue - requirements
The dialogue has to be about 30 messages.
Greet each other.
Introduce yourself and/or ask who someone is.
Explain why you are texting
 Ask and tell what has happened in the event.
Ask or tell how you feel about the event or the situation.
 React to these feelings.
End the conversation.

Use the 'past simple' or  'present perfect'. 

Als een journalist over iets schrijft dat gebeurd is, gebruikt hij/zij de verleden tijd. Daar zijn in het Engels verschillende vormen van, bijvoorbeeld de 'past simple' en de 'present perfect'. Weet je nog hoe je deze maakt en gebruikt?

Past Simple
De past simple is de simpele verleden tijd. Deze vorm gebruik je als iets in het verleden is gebeurd en nu ook is afgelopen. Vaak staat er een tijdsaanduiding in de zin.

I walked to school yesterday.
She bought a new phone last week.

Present Perfect 
De present perfect heeft alles te maken met het verleden en het nu. Het is de voltooid tegenwoordige tijd, dus aan de ene kant is het al voltooid (in het verleden), maar is het ook nog bezig of heeft het nog invloed (in het heden).

- Robert has lost his keys.
