We use the reciprocal pronouns each other and one another when two or more people do the same thing. 

Traditionally, each other refers to two people and one another refers to more than two people, but this distinction is disappearing in modern English.

Reciprocal pronouns worden gebruikt om een wederzijdse relatie uit te drukken. 

Het wederkerig vnw verwijst naar het onderwerp van de zin.
They are talking to each other.
We will always love one another.
Sarah and Marvin always help each other.

Uitzonderingen
Reflexive pronouns gebruik je niet na werkwoorden als wash, dress en shave, tenzij je nadruk wilt leggen op wie het doet. 
(Deze werkwoorden gaan over acties die mensen meestal voor zichzelf doen)

Reciprocal pronouns gebruik je niet na werkwoorden als hug, marry en kiss.
(Deze werkwoorden geven al aan dat de handeling van beide kanten komt.
