Steps

- See how bad the cut is

- Clean the area where you cut yourself with water

- Do not use soap !!!

- Remove any debris that is left

- Disinfect the wound

- Cover the wound with a sterile dressing

- Try to cover it

Steps

- Remove any clothing around the burn

- Keep the burned area under medium warm water / rinse it

- Assess the burn

- Apply antiseptic cream on the wound or a special ointment

- Cover the burn loosely

- TIP from Wiebren, fill a glove with water and apply it to the wound.
