1: As you can see in the source: Greece has a very mountainous landscape with a lot of islands. A lot of areas are isolated. That’s why independent citystates formed. Autonomous cities in stead of one big empire. (page 48)
2. Warfare was important (military), they had three different social layers, Spartan girls were trained in music and poetry, they subdued other people. (page 51)
3. A) They held Olympic Games to honor the gods
    B) They stopped fighting their wars (truce) to do the Olympics in peace
4. A myth is a partly true story starring (half)gods. For instance: Hercules.
