Skim reading (globaal lezen)
  • Reading the title, subtitles, opening, and ending. Reading the beginning and the end of each paragraph.
Intensive reading (intensief lezen)
  • Read the full text. find the main idea of each paragraph. Find linking words. Find the meaning of difficult words. 
Search reading (zoekend lezen/scanning)
  • Searching for the right information. Reading carefully the bits and parts with the information you are looking for.
Critical reading (kritisch lezen)
  • Finding differences between facts and opinions. Sees if the test is reliable.
