Time
- An ongoing action is happening now, either at the moment of speech or now in a larger sense.
- The present continuous can also be used to show that an action is going to take place in the near future.

We use the present continuous:
- To talk about personal arragements for a future day or date
- Actions happening now
- Actions that are incomplete

- Negative sentence: Subject + Auxiliary verb + not+ Verb-ing + Object
- Positive sentence: Subject + Auxillary verb + Verb-ing
- Question: Auxiliary verb + Subject + Verb-ing + Object

Some common signal words with present continuous are time words like:
- Now                        - Look!
- At the moment      - Listen!
- This week
”, “at the moment”, “this week” and “for the time being”
