Good morning! Please:

- Get ready for the class circle: notebook and a pen.

Today's lesson:

- Class circle (10 minutes)
- Vocabulary (15 minutes)
- Speaking exercise (10 minutes)
- Working on your own (15 minutes)
- Les bespreken (5 minutes)

Rules:

1 One person speaking at a time
2 We will speak more English
3 If you have a question, something to say: raise a finger/hand and wait your turn

4 Help each other in your tablegroups
5 Absolutely no phones

6 In the class circle, make sure to have your books etc. ready
7 If your name is written down on the whiteboard or in my notes, you will get a consequence. 
8 Working in silence = silence, no whispering.

Speaking exercises

This period of the school year, we will work on speaking and writing. Today we're starting with speaking!

How:
- Practice speaking English in pairs
- Reading Polly out loud  (and reading + listening)
- Speaking English in the class circle

Waarom?
- Zodat je went aan hoe Engels klinkt en het is om het zelf te spreken
- Zodat je straks kleine, simpele gesprekjes kunt voeren in het Engels

THV: Exercise 15 on page 48 of your AB

Zoek iemand anders met het THV boek (in je tafelgroep). Je werkt in duo's.

Open blz. 26 van je TB.  Ook Stone 5+6 gebruiken, blz 26 van je TB
Beslis wie A is en wie B is.

A: Speech card 1 blz 127 AB
B: Speech card 4 blz 128 AB

KGT: Exercise 10 on page 35 of your AB

Zoek iemand anders met een KGT boek (in je tafelgroep). Je werkt in duo's.

Schrijf elk 3 dieren op. Stel elkaar vragen om erachter te komen welk dier het is. In het Engels.

Gebruik Stone 5, blz  23 TB, als hulp.
