Als je na like / love een werkwoord gebruikt, dan komt daar altijd -ing achter.

Always = altijd
usually = meestal
normally = normaal gesproken
often = vaak
sometimes = soms
not often = nauwelijks
seldom = zelden
hardly ever = bijna nooit
never = nooit

Adverbs of Frequency 
kunnen op 2 plaatsen komen te staan in de zin:

1. Vóór het hoofdwerkwoord (I always go to school)

2. Maar achter een vorm van to be  (I am never late)

Soms gebruiken we geen adverbs, maar een uitdrukking. Dit heet een expression. Het zijn altijd 2 of meer woorden.

Deze uitdrukkingen komen altijd helemaal achteraan in de zin!
