CONIFERS
  • Conifers seed producing plants

  • many are an evergreen and have needle-like leaves.
  • they have xylem for transport and support.
  • They do not have flowers, instead they have cones.

  • Flowering plants are seed producing plants:

  • They have flowers containing the reproductive organs.
  • Pollen is carried from one plant to another by insects of the wind.
  • The flowers make seeds after fertilization.
