Voor Past Simple gebruiken we did zoals jullie al weten. Niet alleen voor vragen, maar ook voor de ontkenningen:

He enjoyed watching the game => He didn`t enjoy watching the game.
I slept for 12 hours yesterday => I didn`t sleep for 12 hours yesterday.
