Tag Questions - step by step

1. Wie (persoon) doet de actie ? I/you/he/Susan/my brothers

2. Welke vorm van to be  staat er in de hoofdzin (HZ)?

3. Staat er een vorm van not  (negatief) in de hoofdzin (HZ)?

Wel in HZ: dan géén not in de TQ

Niet in HZ: dan wél not in de TQ

Dus...

TQ = to be + not + persoon

HZ (+)           TQ (-)

I am         -    aren't I?

You are   -    aren't you?

He is        -    isn't he?

Other verbs?

Andere werkwoorden zoals can, will, should, etc. worden herhaald. Dan gelden dezelfde regels als bij to be:

• HZ (+) = TQ (-)
• HZ (-) = TQ (+)
