When do you use SOME?
  • In positive statements/ Positieve argumenten/Bevestigende zinnen.
  • When you offer something/Wanneer je iets aanbiedt.
  • In questions when you expect the answer is: 'Yes'.


For example: 
Would you like some bread? Yes, I would.
I brought you some bread. Bevestigend.

  • In questions.
  • In negative sentences/Negatieve zinnen/Ontkennende zinnen.



For example: 
Do we have any bread in the house?
I don't want any bread.
