  • VB: She loves chocolate. = feit (altijd)     > he/she/it = stam + s (love + s = loves)
  • VB: We never walk to school. = feit (nooit)    > I/you/we/they = stam (to walk > walk)
  • VB: Do you play tennis? = feit (regelmatig) + VRAAG            >  I/you/we/they = do/don't
  • VB: He doesn't eat fish. = feit (nooit) + ONTKKENING          > he/she/it = does/doesn't
  • VB: ook > tijdschema in toekomst: The train leaves at 8pm.    > train = it (stam +s = leaves)
  • present continuous = nu bezig (am/are/is + ing-vorm)
  • VB: I am having lunch right now.
  • VB: Are you doing your homework?
  • VB: ook > plan in de toekomst: He is leaving tonight.
