You’re going to read articles, watch news fragments, have discussions with each other and even create your own news programme!

Her tips: 
  • Just because someone said something, doesn’t mean it’s true
  • Verify your pictures or videos, check if other news outlets have used it too.
  • Allow responses from the person the story is about, “right of reply”
  • Listen to different opinions, being ‘impartial’, understand all sides of the argument, is what you’re saying fair to the people involved.
  • Find out how many people it is affecting, figure out the scale of the problem.
