When to use the Present Simple
It is used for:
1. Repeated or regular actions in the present time period.
2. Facts.
3. Habits.
4. Things that are always / generally true.

How to use the Present Simple?
The present tense is the base form of the verb:

I work in London.
But with the third person singular (she/he/it), we add an –s:
She works in London.

Exceptions
For a few verbs, the third-person singular ends with -es these verbs  ends in o, ch, sh, th, ss, gh, or z. if the verb ends with y you replace the y by ies

We use do and does to make questions with the present simple. We use does for the third person singular (she/he/it) and do for the others.
