little = weinig (negatief)	few = weinig (negatief)
a little = een beetje (positief)	a few = een paar (positief)
I've got little money.	There are few subjects I do not like.
I save a little money every month. I bought a little milk today.	I'm cutting a few onions. I bought a few shirts today.

A lot of / lots of

A lot of & lots of betekenen "veel". Je kunt a lot of & lots of gebruiken: 

- als er een groot aantal of een grote hoeveelheid van iets is. 

- voor-zelfstandige naamwoorden gebruiken die je kunt tellen.

- voor zelfstandige naamwoorden die je niet kunt tellen.
