Passive

Slide 9 - Slide

Passive
Messi kicks the ball across the field.
The ball was kicked across the field.

We are installing the machine.
The machine is being installed

Passive zie je vaak in handleidingen en instructies.

Slide 10 - Slide

Passive
Hoe vorm je de passive?
                 "to be" + voltooid deelwoord

aandachtspunten:

1. "to be" kan in verschillende tijden staan (past, present, future).(next slide)

Slide 11 - Slide

Passive
We built a house - the house was built.
We are building a house - the house is being built.
We will build a house - the house will be built.
Pete eats an apple  - the apple is eaten
Pete has eaten an apple - the apple has been eaten
Pete is eating an apple - the apple is being eaten
