(because, although, so that, when, after, since) 
of betrekkelijk voornaamwoord (that, who, which). 

De bijzin verklaart de hoofdzin en kun je niet zonder de hoofdzin gebruiken

  • Did you hear about the rain, which caused a flood in Italy?
