3) Why does Mr P say the following? ‘Every white person on this rez should get smashed in the face. But, let me tell you this. All the Indians should get smashed in the face, too.’ (p. 40)..
answer: Because the white people have taken the Indians culture and the Indians gave up and lost their hope, which means that they children don’t have hope either.
answer: Every white person should get smashed in the face, because of what they have done to the Indians. And the Indians should get smashed in the face, because all they are being taught is giving up.
answer: She says this because every white person should smashed in the face for making fun of a Indian and an Indian should be smashed in the face for letting them walk over them and not saying anything of it.

1. The dialogue and interaction between Junior and Rowdy is often crude and rude. Whatis the effect of this?
 2.What does Rowdy do to the Andruss brothers? Why? What does this demonstrate about his friendship with Junior?

answer: To leave and don’t give up. 

answer: That he has to leave the reservation because he has still hope while others don’t have hope left.

answer: His advice is that Junior should get as far as possible away from the rez. He gives him this advice, because he doesn’t want Junior to give up, just like all the other people in the rez

answer: His advice is to not give up and to take his hope and go somewhere where other people have hope. He gives him his advice because if he stays at the reservation he is going to get killed and kept getting hurt.

8. ) How does the fight illustrate the differences in social codes? (2 points)
answer: Junior followed specific rules about fighting. one of them was you fight the person that insults you, so he did. Roger was shocked he got punched. Junior was confused, because he had followed the rules he was used to, but apparently they didn’t work the same here.

answer: On the reservation where Junior used to go to, there’re rules about how you fight and when to fight but in Reardan they don’t fight physically at all. Because of the big difference, Junior is pretty confused.
