You are also going to identify one species.

Choose one area of the following:

- along field which is mowed

- along field which is not mowed 

- along cycle path 

- forest edge

- deeper into the forest

Set out a quadrant of one square metre.

How many different species of plants do you find?

Choose one plant to identify. Take a photo of this plant and add the name.

See a group that chose another area. Which area did they choose?

Compare the results. Which similarities do you see?

Compare the results. Which differences do you see?

Which of the areas had the highest biodiversity? Why do you think that is?
