Structure of 1st Conditional
The 1st conditional consists of 'if' + present simple, then 'will' + base form of the verb. It describes a likely outcome based on a specific condition.

If Aston Villa win the premier league, Mr Wallace will jump for joy. 
If it rains, I will bring an umbrella. 
If you study hard, you will pass the exam.
You will pass the exam if you study hard.

Negatives and Questions
In negative form, 'will not' or 'won't' is used. Questions are formed by inverting the subject and 'will'.
