  • “It was almost a perfect cube, 2 meters long by 2 meters wide by 2 meters high. It contained approximately 8 cubic meters of air. So what is a second conditional?
  • Used to talk about hypothetical situations or things that are unlikely to happen or not true. It is a wish.
  • If I won a million dollars, I would build schools in poor countries.   
  • Used to give advice. 
  • Situation: your parents bought a 600-year-old house, and after 5 years of living there, your father found treasure worth 4 million euros. 
  • If I were you, I would tell the police.
