Rangtelwoorden geven volgorde aan:
first (1st)     -     second (2nd)     -     third (3rd)
fourth (4th)   -   sixth (6th)   -   seventh (7th)   -   etc.
Vanaf 4 komt er -th achter het getal:
Uitzonderingen:
fifth (5th)  -  eighth (8th)   -  ninth (9th)  -  twelfth (12th)

twentieth (20th)  - thirtieth (30th)  - fortieth (40th) - etc.

twenty-first (21st) - thirty-sixth (26th) - forty-ninth (49th) etc.
