Some facts about our universe

  • The earth distance from the sun is called the 'goldilocks zone' — since it's uniquely ideal for life.
  • All stars that you see in the night sky are other suns.
  • The sun makes up more than 99% of the mass in our solar system
  • We call our galaxy 'The milky way galaxy'.
  • All elements originate from suns. This means, we and everything around us are made of 'star dust'. 
  •  Most of the universe is empty space (just like in atoms)
  •  The earth is round, but the universe is actually flat.

  3. We observe the universe through the light that reaches the earth.
