Cambridge expectations

• You can deal confidently with different types of text, such as fiction, newspapers and magazines. 

How do you take a reading exam?
Write down the way in which you read and answer the questions during a reading task/exam.

What works?

1. Look at titles and pictures: What could the text be about?
2. Read the first and last sentences of the paragraphs .
3. Look at the linking words in the text.
4. What is the tone of the text?
5. Stay calm.

Write down as many linking words as possible without looking them up.
