Possessive pronouns

Als je wilt zeggen dat iets van jou is, gebruik je een bezittelijk voornaamwoord (possessive pronoun).

Example: My phone is mine. | Mijn telefoon is van mij.

Example:  This is my bike.| Dit is mijn fiets.  

Examples 

Dit is mijn gitaar. -> This is my guitar.
Deze gitaar is van mij. -> This guitar is mine. 

Dat zijn hun boeken. -> Those are their books.
De boeken zijn van hen. -> The books are theirs. 

Dit is zijn tas. -> This is his bag.
Deze tas is van hem. -> This bag is his.

The cat has a long tail.
