There are certain 'conditionalities' to becoming a CA, 
such as...? 

  • Fulltime availability. 
  • You are able to work on all destinations in the network;
  • You are prepared to wear a face mask and any other protective means required. 
  • You have at least a havo or mbo 4 certificate. 
  • You are a good swimmer. 
  • You are at least 21 years old. 
  • You speak and write impeccably in both Dutch and English. 
  • You are between 1.58 and 1.90 metres tall. 
  • You are well groomed and representative. 
  • You have no visible tattoos, piercings and tooth embellishments. 
  • You are prepared to wear the uniform and to respect the uniform regulations. 
  • During a standby service you are able to be at Schiphol within one hour.

  • Write down the knowledge, qualities and skills that you must have. Please note: these are not the conditionalities!
  • Together, subsequently come up with both 2 enjoyable aspects of the profession and 2 less enjoyable aspects. .
