Can you locate yourself?

At the end of the lesson you will know

You know how to divide the world into circles of latitude and longitude.

You know how to describe the location of a place.

You know how to use key vocabulary in order to locate places.

Note:

Longitude: Distance from a place to the prime meridian

Latitude: Distance from a place to the equator

Hemisphere - Half a sphere (Northern, Southern,

Eastern, Western)

Look at the board and try to locate these places on the map on your table.

Try to describe the location yourself at places A, B and C.

Extra Challenge? Try to name the cities and towns!
