Function of flowers
In flowers are the reproduction organs of the plant. 
They make sure the plant can reproduce
And that's how new plants grow.

Structure of the flower
  • Calyx: consist of sepals.
 Protects the flower.



  • Corolla: consist of petals. 
Attract insects that pollinate the plant. 
Not every plant has colorful corolla

Even though there are many different flowers, most of them have the same parts.

  • Stamen: male reproductive organ
  • Pollen: male sex cells

  • Carpel: female reproductive organ
(stigma, style, ovary)
  • egg cell: female sex cell
