Als de eigenaar van iets een persoon, dier, organisatie of land is. 
.... in het enkelvoud
.... in het meervoud als woorden niet op een S eindigen

Wanneer gebruik je alleen een ':  
Bij personen/dieren in het meervoud die wel op een S eindigen

My parents' car. (parents = meervoud met s)
His siblings' hobby. (siblings = meervoud met s)
Those elephants' ears. (elephant = meervoud met s)

En namen die eindigen op een -s -> Lucas' hair is blond.

Present simple:
Bij feiten, gewoonte en regelmatige gebeurtenissen. 
 
I/you/we/they Hele werkwoord    I live here. 
He/she/it = werkwoord+s              She lives here.

He usually works from home. 
The students go to the gym on Mondays. 
Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius.

Signaalwoorden:
Always, usually, every week, never, seldom,
on Tuesdays etc. 



 
Present continuous:
Als iets NU gebeurd/aan de gang is. 


Am/is/are - ww+ing           Look! I am running
                                 She is singing at the moment.

Listen! My mother is giving him a lecture!
We are walking the dog right now.
I am teaching a class at the moment.  

Signaalwoorden:
Right now, at the moment, Look! and Listen! etc.
