Myth

An ancient story or set of stories, especially explaining the early history of a group of people or about natural events and facts.

What to do:

What: Do research about myths from the Netherlands and UK. Pick 2 Myths; 1 UK & 1 NL.

How: In groups of two. 

Help: Your group, your laptop, the internet & teacher

Time: 8 minutes

Done? What is the  difference between a myth, legend and folk tale?

Fact File

What: Make a fact file about  myths and stereotypes. There must be 1 UK, 1 NL and 2 stereotypes in the fact file. Use the present simple. 

How: In groups of four.

Help: The materials at the front, your groupmates & teacher.
Time: 15 minutes.

Done? Get ready to present your fact file.
