Work in pairs and write down 
50 mph  = fifty miles per hour
14.50     = ten to three in the afternoon or two fifty pm
25 m2    = twentyfive square metres

Work in pairs, take a paper and write down 20 numbers and related words in letters. For inspiration, look at food packaging or other signs in the classroom. Ask or look up answers on the internet.

Write down 4 of your numbers (and words) that you wrote down yesterday. Mix and mingle and listen to your classmate. Write down the numbers your hear (use numbers)

Example: You hear: 25 square metres, you write: 25 m2
After you have written down the four numbers, check your answers and find someone else to chat to.
