->A tornado is a fast rotating column of air from a thunderstorm to the ground.
-> lasts short ( a few minutes or less)
-> size is small (max. 150 meters wide)
-> forms on land only
->forms during heavy thunderstorms
->causes extreme wind speed and damage
-> very unpredictable (onvoorspelbaar!!!)
