Writing Tips
Use capital letters (hoofdletters) and punctuation (leestekens).
ik = I (hoofdletter) ALWAYS
Places, months, days are always capitalized
(London, January, Tuesday)
two/to/too
two = 2
to = preposition "going to the store" (think 'towards' ->'richting')
too = means 'also' or 'excessive' (I ate too much food -> heb te veel eten gegeten)
                                                    (I want to do homework too -> Ik will ook huiswerk doen.
Remember the s/h/it rule.
I run, you run
he/she/it runs
we/they run
they're/there/their
They're = they are
there = point to location, think here or there
their = it belongs to them, "Their cat is 7 years old."
