An informational book is written to provide facts about a living or non-living object. It can be an individual object or a group of objects. Some examples are:

Last week, you picked a topic you wanted to learn more about and wrote it down. 

Today, we will think of questions we want to answer about our topics.

Step #1: Write your topic of choice on the top of a blank page.

Step #2: Pretend you are a detective and think of questions you need answered. Then write them down!
