Exercise 3
Use the reporting verbs: 
threaten, warn, deny, reveal, invite, refuse
Put the verbs in the past form (+ ed)
to report the direct speech (exercise 2)

Example: 
1. Thomas denied breaking the television.

Complete the second sentence so that it has a similar meaning to the first sentence, using the word given.
