Timeline

Trigger: June 12, Israel’s pre‑emptive strikes on nuclear installations.

Retaliation: Iran’s missile/drone counterattacks on June 13–16.

International impact: U.S. defensive support; China/Russia diplomatic warnings; global fear of spillover.

Why it matters: Highlights nuclear security concerns, shifting U.S. foreign policy division, and the growing role of China in Middle East dynamics.

Will America back Israel (again)?

Why is this important? I live in Europe? 

Europe would likely:

- Support the U.S./Israel diplomatically.

- Possibly engage militarily if NATO is triggered or if attacks happen in Europe.

- Suffer major economic consequences even without direct involvement.

- Try to push for diplomacy, especially early on.

What many Iranians feel:

- Young people (over 60% of the population) are frustrated:

- They want more freedoms, less censorship, and better relations with the West.

-Protests have erupted repeatedly—especially after the death of Mahsa Amini in 2022.

-But they all want domestic reform not foreign
