Match the use of the vocabulary in your handouts individually, and then check in pairs.

Formal Letter Structure
A formal letter should have:
  • Formal language.
  •  A clear structure throughout. Date, address, Greeting, body and  Concluding sentence. 
  • No contractions. ( I'm ....I am)
  • No slang. 
  • No abbreviations. (asap)
  • Capital letters, good punctuation.

  • Take into account the requirements when Writing a Formal Letter and the vocabulary used at the beginning of the lesson, Use it!.
  • Finally exchange your letters and discuss in pairs if it meets the requirements.
