  • Examples: Combining production factors

  • Goods (goederen) are tangible.
  • Services (diensten) are intangible.
  • To produce goods and services production factors are used. therefore most goods and services are scarce.


  • Scarcity forces us to make choices.
  • Free goods don’t need production factors when produced.
